Hockey Heroes is a fun, vibrant after School Field Hockey Program that will make your child a better hockey player and get them the exercise they need each week to stay healthy and strong, plus they’ll have loads of fun. We offer classes in both Pretoria East as well as Centurion. Hockey is one of the fastest growing junior schools sports in South Africa. With that in mind our mission is to change

the way hockey is offered in SA by getting children involved from a young age. Because we believe in all hockey has to offer kids, their families and our communities, we designed The Hockey Hero program to break down barriers to entry by offering a program that is ACCESSIBLE, AFFORDABLE, and most importantly, FUN! Hockey Heroes will help your child develop a level of physical competence and team work that will give them an advantage on the sports field. In this program we focus on building children’s confidence in the sporting environment, skill development, hand-eye coordination, playing with a hockey stick, hitting and receiving the ball and knowledge of the game.

• Hockey heroes offers three separate curriculums for ages 5-6, 7-9 and 10-12.
• A qualified instructor will come to your child’s school or public venue to run one fun-filled session per week.
• Sessions run between 30 minutes and 45mins
• To get the maximum benefit out of our programme, our members are encouraged to complete at least one Hockey Heroes cycle of two years. Join us! We can’t wait to help your kids fall in love with hockey too.
