🏌️‍♀️ GAUTENG NORTH WOMEN’S MID-AM IPT TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT 🏌️‍♀️

As the defending champions, Gauteng North is proud to announce our Women’s Mid-Amateur Inter-Provincial Team that will be representing the union at the 2026 South African Women’s Mid-Amateur Inter-Provincial Tournament at Pecanwood Golf & Country Club from 10–14 August 2026.

⛳️ GNGU Mid-Am & Senior Closed Championship ⛳️

The Gauteng North Golf Union Mid-Am & Senior Closed Championship was successfully held at Waterkloof Golf Club, with players competing for top honours in the Mid-Am and Senior divisions.

Congratulations to our champions:

🏆 Mid-Am Champion – Tertuis van den Berg (-7)
Tertuis claimed the title after a thrilling playoff, securing victory on the second playoff hole.

🏆 Senior Champion – Jay van der Walt (+1)

A sincere thank you to Waterkloof Golf Club for hosting the championship and providing a fantastic venue for the event.

The final day of the Mid-Am & Senior Closed Championship has arrived, and Waterkloof has certainly turned on the winter weather! It’s a freezing start to the morning, but that won’t stop our players from giving it their all.

A fantastic day of golf was enjoyed at the beautiful Irene Country Club, with competitive spirit and great sportsmanship on display from all players.
