🏆 2026 GNGU Foursomes Championship 🏆

A huge thank you to Pretoria Golf Club for hosting this year's GNGU Foursomes Championship.

Founded in 1894, Pretoria GC is the oldest club in Pretoria, and it is always a treat to enjoy its rich history and outstanding hospitality.

Thank you to all the players who took part. Foursomes is a unique format that brings a different challenge to the game and plenty of enjoyment along the way.

👏 Congratulations to our 2026 Champions, Andrew Curlewis from Silver Lakes Golf Club and Ryno van Niekerk from Woodhill Residential Estate & Country Club, on an fantastic victory!

Congratulations to Behn Heyns from Silver Lakes Golf Club for winning the 2026 Boland Amateur.

A champion has been crowned!

Congratulations to Behn Heyns from Silverlakes Golf Estate for his victory at the 2026 Boland Amateur Open.

The ability to maintain the lead through the challenging "Amen Corner" (holes 15-18), particularly amidst significant wind and gusts, is truly commendable. With back-to-back wins, achieved under severe conditions—first at the Pearl Valley Open and now this event—represent an extraordinary accomplishment.

We express our gratitude to our partners, Western Cape Government Cultural Affairs and Sport and Devon De B**r, for their contributions in enhancing this event. The winner received a Silver Krugerrand, a gift card together with a gold medal and his named edged on the trophy 🏆

On Wednesday 2 September we had the Colours Presentation for the Team that will be representing us at the upcoming Challenge IPT to be played at Kambaku Golf Course from 14 to 17 September 2026.

Entries closes on Wednesday 7 October 2026 at 9am. Entries can be done via the GNGU of Golfrsa website.
