A gutsy showing by CoSACSA Gauteng athletes at the CoSACSA National Sakhiwo Zuma Track and Field Championship in the Western Cape.
The team secured an impressive 2nd position, bringing home 16 gold, 9 silver, and 8 bronze medals.
Despite challenging weather conditions, the team remained resilient and competed with determination throughout the championship.
Congratulations to Western Cape on taking the top spot.
We take this opportunity to extend our sincere gratitude to all the athletes, committee members, college officials, and supporters for their dedication and commitment throughout the championship.
The team delivered a strong performance, maintaining a top position is never easy, and finishing 2nd is a remarkable achievement.
Well done to our athletes, and a special thank you to our SRC and officials for their unwavering support during the competition.
We continue to strive for what is best for our students, empowering them to grow, excel, and reach their full potential both on and off the field.
We head back to our homes this morning, scheduled to land in Johannesburg at 13h00.
We go again next year in pursuit of position 1. For now, the focus shifts to Arts and Culture.
Shoutout to the photographers: Simangele Twala Selemele, Lethabo, Lwandiso, Lwandile Gift, and Mr. Mo.
