FAREWELL TO OUR GAUTENG ATHLETICS CHAMPION – FROM UMLAZI, SOUTH AFRICA TO TEXAS, USA

The CoSACSA Gauteng Provincial Executive Committee proudly announces the farewell of one of our outstanding athletics champions from Ekurhuleni East TVET College (EEC), Ms. Andile Manzi, as she embarks on an exciting new chapter in Texas, USA.

Ms. Manzi's dedication, talent, resilience, and exceptional achievements have brought pride to both Gauteng and South Africa. She recently cemented her place in the history books by becoming a record breaker at the 2026 Sakhiwo Zuma National Athletics Championships—a remarkable accomplishment that reflects her unwavering commitment to excellence.

As she begins this exciting journey, we invite everyone to join us in celebrating one of Gauteng's finest athletes. We are confident that she will continue to fly the South African flag high and inspire many young athletes both at home and abroad.

The CoSACSA Gauteng Provincial Executive Committee and Eec Tvet officials will proudly attend to bid Ms. Manzi farewell and give her the memorable send-off she truly deserves.

We caught up with the Arts and Culture Convener ahead of the CoSACSA National Arts and Culture Festival, which will take place from 19–23 June in the North West Province.

With just one day to go before the team departs, listen as he shares insights into the festival, outlines what supporters can expect, and offers his best wishes to the team ahead of their journey.

The Gauteng team is scheduled to depart tomorrow at 13:00 as they embark on their quest for excellence at the national festival. We wish them safe travels and every success in the competition.
