Hi Family 👋🏽

We are deeply disheartened by Elizabeth’s passing. She was one of us…

This coming Sunday we will run in her memory, and in solidarity with every woman who deserves to feel safe and BE safe on the road, without fear.

As a running community, in addition to our "Shades On" theme, let's wear ALL BLACK as a sign of respect and solidarity.

However we know some prefer to run alone, but for safety, let's be intentional - let's find jogging partners and look out for one another.

Miles & Smiles stands in solidarity. 🤍

Our hearts are heavy following the tragic loss of people in the Kempton Park area and any area at large.

Running is meant to be our time of peace a space to breathe, heal, improve our health and simply be ourselves. It is heartbreaking that even this space can become unsafe.

As a running club, we encourage our community: please don’t run alone. Run in groups, look out for one another, and make safety part of every run.

Miles & Smiles is a space for everyone who wants to run together, safely and collectively.

Our deepest condolences to every family and loved one affected by this devastating loss. 🤍

Let’s run together. Let’s look out for each other.
