📍 Live from the deep sea around Wake Island in the Pacific Ocean!

E/V Nautilus explores some of the least understood parts of our ocean using ROVs, which send live video and scientific information back to the ship.

Our live discussion will focus on two fascinating deep-sea subjects:
🔥 Hydrothermal vents, and the unusual communities of life that survives around them and
🐋 Whale falls, and how a whale carcass on the seafloor provides food, nutrients and habitat for deep-sea life for many years.

You will be able to submit questions to the crew LIVE about E/V Nautilus, ROVs, ocean exploration or other deep-sea topics!
