One to grace the cradle and get started…👌🏻

The joy we find in setting down that retainer in the cradle and unzipping it to reveal that stunner you’ve been waiting for. This is another solid fish that Bertus had during his arctic session a few weeks ago, where bites were hard to come by and the kettle was permanently on the go.

Safely handled and released using a Revolve Flotation Sling and Pro-Tect Safeguard Cradle.

Putting in the hours…⌛️

With snow forecasted all around the country, Bertus had a a session booked at Donaldson Dam and wasn’t about to miss it for the comfort of home.

While it wasn’t his most productive session, he battled the 30km/h winds and rain to make sure the rods were on the spot and he was angling.

It wasn’t ideal fishing conditions, but it was ideal to put his new kit to the test. Using his new VTX+ Bite alarms, Revolve Bobbins, and Revolve Super Low Pod, he was ready for anything to happen.

Welcome Bertus to the Avid Carp SA team!🎉

Bertus will be our man on the ground, or should we rather say angler on the bank, putting the Avid Carp gear through its paces in South African conditions.

Not only has he already put an album full of fish on the bank since he started as an ambassador, but he has a true passion for the brand and its products, and will be showing us how to land these stunning fish using them.
