One of the most important maintenance tips is to remove the batteries after every shoot, especially if the hearing protection will not be used for an extended period. Batteries left inside the unit can leak over time, causing corrosion that may permanently damage the electronic components. Removing the batteries also helps prevent unnecessary power drain, ensuring your hearing protection is ready for your next outing. The CENS case includes a designated space where the batteries can be conveniently stored using the magnetic tool supplied with your kit.

It is also recommended that you regularly wipe your CENS earpieces and electronic units with the alcohol swabs provided in the kit.
