📣 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Grootfontein Bike Park will be closing its gates permanently earlier than planned. The last ride has been moved up to Sunday, 30 November at 12PM.

Thank you to every rider, family, dog-walker, runner, and weekend adventurer who has made this place so special. The early sunrises, the dusty shoes, the shared laughter, the tough climbs, the coffee breaks, and the sense of community will always be part of our story.

We hope to see you on the trails one last time before we close.
Thank you for being part of the Grootfontein family. ❤️🚲

Dear valued Grootfontein Bike Park customers and supporters.
It is with a heavy heart that we have to inform you that we have reached the end of an era. Due to economic reasons, we will be closing the bike park, and the last day the shop will be open will be 14 December 2025.

We will honour all 2025 memberships, and any memberships extending into 2026 can either make use of the trails until it lapses or can contact me to arrange a pro rata refund.

We’d like to thank every rider, supporter and organiser for your contributions through the years as well as our loyal staff - permanent, casuals, volunteers. You were the heart of GBP. Lastly, thank you to Peet for the facility and opportunity and our family and friends for the support.

May you all be blessed. Keep the hubs singing and the rubber (mostly) on the ground.
