Eersterust sporting clubs have been busy and been providing great results all across. As they continue to develop athletes we congratulate them on their achievements. The Taekwondo team continue to make waves on the mats as they prove to stand tall and strong against their opponents..

And; Congratulations to all the athletes who have been selected to represent Athletics Gauteng North (AGN) at the ASA Cross Country Championships taking place on Saturday, 6 September 2025 at Kees Taljaard Stadium, Middelburg (Mpumalanga).

The perfect Saturday has been lined up for you. For the 1st time, Eersterust will be hosting the AGN cross country tomorrow. Thank you CAD and ACE for keeping Poort relevant and on the grid. Let's head out and support. Family day out. Get your chicken from EYD at zoolake and have day out. Take your camp chairs to zoo lake and cheer the runners on.

Did You Know?

Eersterust has a pool club that practices as the tables at Tabzees. The club also plays league games against other clubs in Tshwane.

Head on over between Mondays and Wednesdays after work if you are interested to join. Even if it is just for social.

Our Namibian counterparts hail from East Windhoek, in a town called Gobabis. Desert Rollers in an Old Sports Club, while Paresis is a famous Secondary School in Gobabis.
