Registration for Social Auxiliary Work training is open for 2024 intake.
It is a full time course were learners will have to attend class and practicals.
The course is comprise of 180 credits and learners graduate on completion of their training.
We are a Private College and do not offer any other courses at the moment.
We do not provide any learnership or any nursing qualification at our institution .

One of our many traditions at Dirang College is to lend a hand in empowering the youth of our country. In 2017 Dirang College in collaboration with local schools, NPO's and business partners celebrated June 16th within the JB MARKS Municipality.

What is Social Auxilary Work?

Social auxiliary work is defined as an act or activity practised by a social auxiliary worker under the guidance and control of a social worker to achieve the aims of social work.

What am I going to with the qualification?

Social Auxilary workers assist and support social workers in working with individuals groups or communities to improve their social functioning, control and guidance.

What kind of personality do I need?

As social workers, social auxiliary workers should be in good physical and mental health, be caring and have interest and faith in their fellow human beings. They must be able to communicate with people, have a strong sense of responsibility and a positive outlook on life.
