Introducing Mr Mpinda Mzoxolo! The resident face paint artist of "Isinuka" sulphur Springs and mud cave.
His canvas - the smiling faces of visitors to this natural wonder site. His medium - the special yellow clay from the mud cave and the black clay from under the pink water of the pool above. Together with a well organized work station, his meticulous specificity to the distribution of black dots to yellow background is immediately noticed and always appreciated upon inspection of the final product. Please support Mr Mzoxolo's services upon visiting the site. Not only are you left with a baby soft face, it makes for a great picture!

Another great day out in Wild Coast, Eastern Cape. A good drive into the village, a decent hike along the beach and up a small estuary into the valley and finishing off with a bush braai amongst the mangroves of the Mngazana mangrove estuary.

Besides some crazy wind, it was a good day to get out into nature. We managed to find a great protected area to have lunch. A simple South African classic - boerie rolls... With relish of course! Considering my guests were Polish/Russian, Dutch and an Irishman from Mozambique (cheers Richie!) I think it went down well.

Today we visited "Isinuka" sulphur Springs and mud cave. An ancient Travertine formation. It was a nice warm Saturday and there were many friendly faces welcoming us. A bit of fun in the mud cave first then a dip in the pink sulphur waters above to wash it off. Add some wild tropical fruit to top it of. A big thanks to my guests Cindy and Mhlanga!

Ever visited the Gap and Blowhole in Port St Johns? This is one of our towns iconic landmarks. Interesting geographical phenomena led to this rock formation. At the last point the "Blow hole" is clearly visible on rough surf days, where the waves are channeled into a cave forcing water and compressed air high into the air. Care does need to be taken though, and we recommend going with an experienced guide to be sure. Big thanks to Maria Jose' and Estefania from Spain!
