Graeme Whale Golf Graeme Whale Golf offers golf lessons to young and old. There is a golfer in every one of us! I’ve been a golfer since my 12th birthday. That was then!!

My father joined our local club and I nagged him for two years until he eventually let me join. Finally I had another home!! I loved the smell of the freshly cut grass, that the colour green had so many different shades. I loved the camaraderie that existed amongst the members and last but not least, I loved the competition between so many friends. After two and a half years of full time Amateur g

olf, eight and a half years of ups and downs playing the TOUR for a living, 18 months of full time teaching at a golfing range , and then finally 16 years as a club professional. That is 28 years of my life summed up in one paragraph. What have I learnt about golf? I know it’s the greatest game in the world. I know you never beat it. I know that once the bug bites its grip on your life only grows and grows. I know that it’s not fair, but most of all I’ve learnt and I know that it’s just a game. It’s a game that teaches you plenty about yourself, and even more about others. It is a game that continues to evolve. Its popularity has cut through time and stands alone in its manners, in its etiquette and in its standards. Whether you’re old or young, fat or thin, fast or slow, big or small, strong or weak, male or female, I truly believe “there is a golfer in everybody”. You and your family need to join the family of golfers that play and practice all over the world.

A huge congratulations to Malan Potgieter, who shot a sensational 63 to qualify for the Match Play stages of The Amateur Championship at Royal Liverpool.

His incredible round not only secured his place in the knockout stages but also equalled the Amateur Championship course record — a remarkable achievement at one of the world's most prestigious amateur events.

As a coach, there is no better gift than seeing a player you've worked with achieve success on such a big stage. This result is a testament to Malan's talent, work ethic and belief in the process.

It's a relaxed, one hour group coaching session designed to get you into the swing of things. This is for everyone, whether you're picking up a club for the first time or just brushing up on the basics.

For only R60 for 50 balls, you'll get expert guidance in a fun, group environment.
No pressure, no experience is needed. Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to try something new.

The Driving Range, however, is open. See you tonight for Beginners' Golf 💚

Dear Members,

Following an inspection of the course this morning, the course will remain closed for today.

We are pleased to advise that the course will reopen tomorrow, Saturday. However, due to the wet conditions, the use of motorized carts will not be permitted. Players will be required to walk the course.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to protect the course following the recent rainfall.

When coaching, we know that your child is going to be different to any other child, and that what they want out of the game is going to be unique. But we also know that, for every junior golfer, we need to have FUN at the core of their journey. So every time they come home, they can’t wait for their next lesson.

Come and speak to us about getting your child into golf and developing their full potential, not just as golfers, but as people too.

Our 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐟 𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐲 is good value at R500 per month for one hour coaching a week at the Driving Range at PE Golf Club - The Hill in Port Elizabeth. Maximum 8 in a group.

𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 for 2–10 year olds takes place every Saturday morning at the Driving Range from 9 to 10am 🌟 They have unlimited balls during the supervised coaching session while the kids hit and have fun. Cost: Just R40 per child
