Our Soccer World Cup themed summer league kicked off to a GREAT start on Wednesday night! There was great squash and even better vibe! Well done to Jason who did all the heavy-lifting in organising this annual league. 👏🏼🔥

Welcome to the three new additions for 2026: Heinrich, Elzane and Warren. We look forward to the contribution you will make in 2026.

A special thank you must be extended to three committee members for their outstanding contribution in 2025:
1) Linda (who received the Chairman’s Award).
2) Jason for his monumental efforts in running the bar and summer league.
3) Wayne for his tireless efforts in keeping the facility functional.

On Saturday the final round of our internal Club Champs competition will take place between 14:00 and 16:00. All section finals will be on court 2. Come along to watch some good squash on display. 💪🏼🔥

It is with deep sadness that we mourn the passing of one of our most faithful members: Vanessa Schoonraad. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends in this difficult time.

A number of our members/teams were recognised at the recent EP Squash prize-giving for their achievements this year.

Most of our league teams performed very well with wins in the Ladies Goffer league, Men’s 5th league and Men’s 4th league. Congratulations to all those who contributed to the success of our league teams this year.

Emile Jordaan won the EP Closed C section earlier in the year. Lubabalo Mtotoyi and Keanu Morrison made it to the EP Men’s B team and Siphelele Mpini was part of the very competitive EP Men’s A team.

Keanu Morrison was also nominated for the Sportmanship Trophy as well as winning the Most Improved Man award.

Westview were runner-ups in the Club of the Year, narrowly losing to Crusaders by 0,15 points.

Well done to our current Chairman, Wayne, for winning the 55+ B Section of the Squash 57 Nationals held over the past weekend. He beat fellow PE resident Andrew in the final. We are proud of you! 👏🏼
