🏆 ECB Mixed Doubles Tournament 2026 – A Day to Remember
The Eastern Cape Blackball Association hosted its very first Mixed Doubles Tournament, and it was truly one for the books! The atmosphere at Castros was electric — filled with laughter, teamwork, and a shared love for the game.
It was wonderful to see how the more experienced players took the ladies under their wing, offering guidance and demonstrating shot techniques with patience and encouragement. That spirit of mentorship captured what ECB stands for — growth, camaraderie, and passion for blackball.
🎱 Cup Division
Our 2026 Mixed Doubles Champions, Elandi and Darren, proved themselves a true power couple both on and off the tables, playing with precision, confidence, and synergy that impressed everyone.
In second place, Nahsreen and Julian delivered a powerful performance that kept spectators on edge, while Karen and Leenash claimed third, showing skill and determination throughout their matches.
🥇 Plate Division
The Plate Winners, Vee and Daniel, showcased a powerful performance that earned them the top spot — their teamwork and focus were exceptional.
In second place, Jeandre and Justin played with great energy and consistency, while Jamiel and Fagma secured third, displaying solid play and sportsmanship.
