Bay Eagle Swim Team BEST offer coaching from learn to swim, fitness, competitive age group, open water and masters. We train out the the Bay Eagle Aquatics Centre in Fairview.

The Bay Eagle Swim Team is a swimming club based in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. It was formed in May 2011 by the joining of Karoly and SwimCats swimming clubs. We train swimmers from learning to swim, through all the competitive levels, right to international representation level. Our club is also home to a great masters group and we also provide swimming coaching to bi/tri-athletes.

In true BEST style, Shalea received an walk of honor before her departure to Argentina to represent South Africa at the World Aquatics Junior Open Water Championships.

1st A League Gala 2026

2026/2027 swimming season looks a bit different with gala's being done in a SC pool for now.

Congratulations to all the BESTies that stepped up and delivered some phenomenal performances.

Coaches Athenkosi Mtiya and Nepo Ntsono was on pool deck guiding the swimmers.

Thank you to all parents for officiating.
