What an incredible weekend! This is a special shout-out to everyone who made our weekend at African Dawn Bird and Wildlife Sanctuary such a huge success.

A very, very special thank you to *Valley Crag - Indoor Climbing Center*, who initiated this wonderful event and included African Dawn Bird and Wildlife Sanctuary as part of their Adult and Children’s Amazing Race this year. It was such a joy to be Stop #3 on the adults’ race, watching everyone follow clues to their different destinations with such excitement and fun.

We would like to extend an extra special thank you to all the amazing contestants who went above and beyond by bringing such generous food donations for our animals along their Amazing Race journey. Your kindness and thoughtfulness mean so much to us and to every animal in our care — thank you for turning a fun race into a beautiful act of giving.

Thank you also for the delightful kiddies Amazing Race games hosted here at African Dawn with the beautiful hostess Melanie, who went the extra mile and worked long hours to ensure everything was in place. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for including us — you planted the seed, and from there it truly took flight. We applaud and appreciate you, Valley Crag- Indoor Climbing Center.
