As an overthinker, I can have a thousand thoughts before doing one simple thing.

What if I offend someone?
What if they misunderstand me?
What if I say the wrong thing?
What if they don’t like me?

Add people-pleasing to that, and you can spend years making sure everybody else is comfortable while slowly making yourself smaller.

I know that woman.

I’m a firstborn daughter. For so much of my life, I felt responsible for everyone else being okay. My siblings. My friends. The people I worked with.

I became good at reading rooms, avoiding confrontation and keeping everyone happy.

But I wasn’t always asking:

BB, what do YOU want?

Being seen has also been something I’ve had to work through.

Making mistakes.
Using my voice.
Being misunderstood.
Being too excited.
Taking up space.

Even my hair has been a huge insecurity for me. For years I carried this belief that I needed to look a certain way to be fully received.

So now, if you see a woman dressing differently, taking herself for coffee, moving her camera around in public, laughing loudly, starting the business, posting the video or simply looking happy…

leave her alone.

You have no idea what she had to overcome inside herself that morning just to enjoy that moment without judging herself.

Some of us aren’t trying to get attention.

We’re learning how to stop hiding.

And to the woman who needs this today:

It’s safe to be seen.

You’re probably already unsettling people by becoming more of yourself anyway, so you may as well do it by being fully, unapologetically you, my love.

Take the photo.
Move the camera.
Wear the outfit.
Use your voice.

You don’t need permission to be yourself.

Always shine,
BB 🤍

Maybe the dream was never to hustle harder… maybe it was to build a life I actually want to live in.

I come from hospitality and yachting, where 12–14 hour days can feel completely normal.

You work. You push. You keep going.

And now, while recovering from surgery for endometriosis, I’m being reminded how much I actually want a slower kind of success.

This video is a hyperlapse, but the reality is I’m in my pyjamas, tidying the kitchen, putting something in the oven and dreaming.

And my dream?

A ranch or farm. 🤩

A beautiful farm kitchen.

A table big enough to serve 40 people at a time.

I want friends and family around that table.

I want to make my own butter.

I want fresh food, open space, animals and a home filled with people.

And one of my dream “cars”?

A horse. 🐎😂

Because I still want horsepower… just a very different kind.

I still want to build businesses, travel, speak, create wealth and make an impact.

I just don’t want to work so hard that I miss the life I’m working for.

Maybe success isn’t always about having more.

Maybe it’s finally becoming brave enough to admit what your version of a rich life actually looks like.

Mine has a farm kitchen, homemade butter, horses and a table for 40. 🤎

You have the skills.
You have the idea.
You know you are capable of more.

So what is really stopping you from showing up?

For a lot of women, it is not that they need another course on how to post.

It is confidence.
Clarity.
Overthinking.
Fear of being seen.
Not knowing how to show up in a way that actually feels like them.

That is what Brave & Visible is about.

Not becoming someone else online.
Not copying somebody else’s strategy.
Not posting for the sake of posting.

But learning how to show up your way — with more confidence, stronger messaging, better visibility and a business that does not feel exhausting.

I first taught this in 2025, and so much has changed since then.

I have grown.
My business has grown.
The women who joined have grown.

And Brave & Visible has grown too.

That is why this will be my yearly masterclass — something I keep improving as I learn, build, test, grow and get better at helping women become more visible without losing themselves in the process.

Affirmations have been something I’ve used for the longest time.

And honestly, something as simple as a Post-it note can be so powerful.

Not only because it reminds us of what we want to believe, but because repetition can help us begin to challenge and reshape the beliefs we’ve carried internally for years.

There are so many things we say we believe about ourselves outwardly…

“I’m confident.”
“I’m capable.”
“I’m worthy.”
“I can do this.”

But internally, our subconscious mind may still be holding onto a completely different story.

Louise Hay, who was introduced to me through one of the coaches I worked with, really opened my eyes to the idea of looking at healing from the inside out and paying attention to the words we continually speak over ourselves.

And for me, this also connects deeply with my faith.

The Bible speaks so much about the power of our words and the power of the tongue.

What we repeatedly speak matters.

So if you’re a high-performing woman living with endometriosis, choose one of these affirmations today.

Choose a few if you need them.

Write them on a Post-it note.
Put them on your mirror.
Stick them next to your laptop.
Read them every morning.
Say them out loud.

Not because you’re pretending everything is okay, but because you are intentionally choosing what you want to reinforce within yourself.

Let the healing start from the inside out. 🤎

Always shine,
BB

I’m going to say this again because I shared it on a Live once and I still believe it:

Let your friends be your friends.

Don’t put pressure on every friendship to become a business opportunity.

Don’t spend all your energy trying to sell to your friends. Go and find your clients.

Because it is often much easier to turn a client into a friend than it is to turn a friend into a client.

And our friendships deserve space to simply be friendships too.

This breakfast right here reminded me of something else:

Go to the event.
Support someone else’s business.
Get in the room.

Alicia reminded me of this. Thanks to her sister and Delon, she came to an event — and that is where we met.

One decision to show up created a connection that might never have happened otherwise.

There are breadcrumbs being left for us all the time.

But we have to notice them — and then we have to be willing to follow them.

Too often we’re trying to fit in, accommodate everyone and stay where it feels familiar, instead of getting into rooms that stretch us, grow us and introduce us to new people.

You never know who you’ll meet.

Who will inspire you.
Who will support you.
Who will become a friend.
Or who will show you something you didn’t even know you needed.

Stop trying so hard to fit in.
Start showing up in rooms where you can grow.

Your people might already be there. 🤎

Always shine,
BB ✨

19 DAYS TO MY 40TH BIRTHDAY — BIRTHDAY COUNTDOWN ✨

One of the biggest things I’ve learned getting closer to 40 is this:

I knew how to be needed.

I knew how to help.
Fix.
Show up.
Carry things.
Keep everyone happy.

And if I’m honest, that people-pleasing part of me is also one of the reasons I became such a strong business owner.

It’s why I excelled as a yacht stewardess.

I could read a room.
Anticipate what people needed.
Remember the small details.
Make people feel cared for.

The only person I wasn’t pleasing was me.

That has changed so much in the past five years.

I’ve had to learn that being a good friend, wife, business owner or human being does not mean constantly abandoning myself.

I overthought what I said.
I worried about upsetting people.
I changed parts of myself to fit in.
I said yes when I wanted to say no.

And I wish someone had told me sooner:

Learn to disappoint other people before you keep disappointing yourself.

Know what you like.
Know what you want.
Know what you need.
Know what your boundaries are.

And learn to love yourself enough to honour those things.

Because the more you know yourself, the less likely you are to keep shrinking just to stay accepted.

So today’s birthday wisdom is simple:

Know yourself. Love yourself. And stop abandoning yourself just to keep the peace. 🤎

So much love,
BB

Remember to dance. 💃

Remember that life is also about the memories you make along the way.

I got to spend time with my wonderful friend Megan. We met years ago through modelling, and today she is an international model, a mom, an entrepreneur and an absolute powerhouse still following her dreams.

When she invited me out, a big part of me wanted to say no.

Then I remembered something.

I love dressing up.
I love dancing.
I love laughing.
I love being around people I care about.

Somewhere along the way, I think I started taking myself and life a little too seriously.

Work.
Responsibilities.
Goals.
The next thing to achieve.

And sometimes we forget that we are allowed to enjoy the life we are working so hard to build.

So this is your sign:

Wear the outfit.
Say yes to the invitation.
Call the friend.
Play the music.
Go dancing. 🤎

Being around women who are still following their dreams reminds me that we can be mothers, entrepreneurs, wives, leaders, dreamers — and still make space for joy.

Life is about the memories too.

And if you feel like you’ve lost a little bit of yourself along the way, message me EXPAND and I’ll send you my free 7-Day Expansion PDF to help you reconnect with your true self. ✨

Now go make some memories.

I didn’t always celebrate my birthday properly.

And I definitely didn’t always feel comfortable saying what I wanted.

So yes, this is my birthday wishlist — some things I’ll work towards, some my husband will work towards (lol), and some may come as gifts.

But I learned later in life that it is okay to receive.

And if reading that makes you slightly uncomfortable, sit with that for a moment.

Because some of the most powerful people in the world know what they want — and they’re willing to work towards it.

My favourite things?

A lemongrass candle from Poetry.
Beautiful stationery.
Flowers.
Massage vouchers.
Spa days.
Lunch with people I love.
Beach walks.
Flights.
Travel.
A conference.
An Osmo.
And financial opportunities that allow me to book the flights, experiences and things I’m working towards. ✈️

But some of my favourite gifts cost nothing.

Prayer.
Helping somebody.
Sharing one of my posts with someone who needs it.

And this year, one of the biggest things I’ve had to work towards wasn’t glamorous at all — it was my health and my medical bills.

So this isn’t a list saying you need to buy me something.

It’s actually a reminder for you:

What do you want?

It’s September.

That vision board.
The gym membership.
The new career.
The trip.
The business.
The thing you keep saying you’ll start.

Have you moved towards it?

Because I already know I won’t be in exactly the same place this time next year.

I know what I want.
I pray about it.
I make sure it aligns with my purpose.
And then I move towards it, little by little.

So here’s your reminder:

Write your birthday list.

Not because somebody else needs to buy it for you.

Because you deserve to know what you want. 👑🤎

So much love,
BB
