The PINEAPPLE EXPRESS is the Official KZN South Coast Ultra Trail Run which gives our Trail Runners new adventures and challenges mixed in with magical encouters along the beautiful coastline, all the time while chasing the Tide. The event is broken up into 3 achieveable running distances, which gives the oppourtunity for professionals, weekend warriors and novices to all experience this epic Sout

h Coast run and be part of the action. The main race starts at Port Shepstone and hugs the beautiful Coastline , with runners challenging themselves on sandy beaches, rocky outcrops, indiginious bush trails and some small river crossings. The PINEAPPLE EXPRESS offers Trail runners 3 entry options: 50km EXPRESS , 30km RUSH, 12km FLASH, which all finish at the beautiful Wild Coast Sun Hotel.

The countdown is officially on for the 2026 Pineapple Express Trail Run, taking place on the spectacular KZN South Coast on 15 August!

If you haven’t secured your spot yet, this is your chance — but don’t leave it too late! Entries close on the 12th August.

30km has 3 water tables, 21km has 2, and 12km has 1.
No cups are provided, so bring your own hydration system or reusable cup.
