Well done to our anglers who fished the 8th Round Robin outing on 4th April from Kleinemonde to Fish River. The weather was great and many fish were recorded despite some anglers being away for the Easter weekend. Well done and thank you to those who attended the prize giving!

Congratulations Ilhaam Abrahams on being selected to fish for the 2026 President Development Team. The team will compete against Namibia in the Gus Kohlner Tournament in Jeffreys Bay in October 2026.
Well done Ilhaam, you've done us proud!

Well done to our ladies, Monique Janse van Rensburg and Laetitia Laubscher who fished the Ladies Nationals at Struisbaai recently.
Monique finished 12th and Laetitia finished in 16th position. Monique has also been selected to fish in the Gus Kohlner Tournament later this year against Namibia.
Eastern Province finished in 4th position and Border in 5th.
Well done ladies, you did us proud!

Round Robin #6 - a good days fishing rounded off with good fellowship and burgers! Well done to our Round Robin anglers who braved the elements and experienced a day of all 4 seasons in 1.
A total weight of 67,03kg and 52 fish of 8 different species was caught.

• Monique is fishing for the EP Ladies team.
• Laetitia is fishing as a loan angler for Border.
• Ladies Nationals are being fished at Struisbaai.

• Heinrich is fishing as a loan angler for KZN Coastal, with Ethan guiding him. This is the B Nationals, taking place in EP waters.
• B Nationals & Development kick off on Tuesday at Kabeljous, then Wednesday at Gamtoos, Thursday at Sundays, and Friday back at Kabeljous.

• Ilhaam Abrahams is fishing for the EP Development side.

After a hard days fishing, anglers and their families came together to enjoy good fellowship and awesome burgers prepared by the Port Alfred River & Ski Boat Club.
Well done to our anglers! Whether there was a fish caught or not, the team spirits were high! We're looking forward to the next Round Robin on 14th February - watch this space!
