Recently, I have found that some of the greatest satisfaction I have ever experienced comes from creating something where there was once nothing.
The last few months have been challenging, and if there is one thing clay has taught me, it is that almost anything in life can be repaired, created, or transformed into something beautiful.
Sometimes we face situations that are already perfect and need no changing. More often, however, cracks begin to form, small imperfections appear, or things simply don’t turn out the way we had imagined. During those times, we may need to fill the cracks, smooth over the blemishes, or even start from the beginning and build something entirely new.
There is always hope. Just like clay, every situation in life has potential. But, just as with clay, it is ultimately up to the potter what the finished piece will become. Some situations require precision and patience, while others call for firmer, more decisive hands.
The most important thing to remember is that the responsibility lies with us. Whether you are a potter or simply navigating life, we are responsible for what we create with our lives.
