Another SA JKA National Championships has come and gone and wow, what a weekend it was, as usual💯
We took 46 competitors this year and our team managed to come home with 49 medals👌🏻 it is not all about the medals but it is a great way to gauge the improvement and achievement of our students!
Along with this event, one of our students, Kirhav, attended the Region South Championships in Angola and managed to come home with a silver🤟🏻 congrats buddy!
Regardless of the results, we are beyond proud of all of our students for the hard work they have put in and their constant effort in training💯 you guys made sure that you were ready and gave it your all and that’s all we can ask for👌🏻 yes, disappointment can creep in if you didn’t do as well as you would have hoped, but it’s all part of the process and lessons were learnt this weekend!
I just want to give a big thank you to the students and their families for attending and committing to the event and to the judges, referees and table officials for helping make the tournament possible for our students💯
A huge thank you to SA JKA and Sensei Warren for putting on another successful tournament and for always ensuring the weekend runs smoothly for our students to do their best👌🏻
Lastly, I just want to say a big thank you to our coaches for all their hard work over the two days😑 it’s a tough 2 days for coaches and they didn’t stop, ensuring our students were taken care of and in the right place at the right time - thank you as always! Oss!
