Swimming for CHOC, an official charity of the aQuellé Midmar Mile. 💛🏊‍♂️

This year alone, CHOC swimmers participating in the Charity Challenge and throughout the aQuellé Midmar Mile Race Weekend raised an incredible R641,237 for CHOC, helping make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families facing incredibly difficult journeys.

For those who may be unaware, CHOC Childhood Cancer Foundation South Africa provides free, comprehensive support to families of children affected by cancer and life-threatening blood disorders.

You too can make a difference by signing up to support one of our official charities at the 2027 aQuellé Midmar Mile. Visit our website to learn more about how you can get involved.

Keep an eye out for our 2027 Charity Challenge swimmers as they begin their fundraising journeys. Many will be taking on incredible challenges across Midmar Dam while raising funds for causes close to their hearts. As an official aQuellé Midmar Mile charity and a valued part of Event 1, which opens the main aQuellé Midmar Mile Race Weekend, KPCA continues to make a meaningful difference in our community by helping keep Pietermaritzburg clean and beautiful.

We are incredibly grateful for our partnership and proud to have KPCA as part of our event weekend, giving swimmers the opportunity to make a difference while taking on the Mile.
