It’s time to trade the boast shots for a banquet! The Midlands Squash Union, together with Protea Squash Club is thrilled to host the 2026 Cut Right Kitchens Midlands Squash Winter League Awards Dinner & Dance on Friday, 25 September 2026 at the Maritzburg Golf Club. 6.00pm for 6.30pm

We’re swapping the courts for the dance floor to celebrate an incredible season, honour our players and winners, and enjoy a well-deserved night out. (Official invitation attached!)

The 2026 CUT RIGHT KITCHENS Winter League Squash Prizegiving will be held on the 25th September 2026 and all players are requested to send in their nominations to me ([email protected]) for the Good sportsmanship award.

The criteria involved in nominating a player is as follows:

1. Displays outstanding standards of sportsmanship at all times in that they:
a. ensure least possible interference in a match
b. are humble in victory and gracious in defeat
c. do not argue with opponents and officials

2. Supports team members by:
a. officiating willingly
b. Gives moral support by watching team members and gives technical support by offering advice, if appropriate.

3. Passionate about the game.

This should be voted on by all league members. A Motivation with your nomination MUST be provided.

Closing date for nominations to be sent to the MSU is 12:00pm on Monday, 14 September 2026. Late nominations will not be accepted.
