East Coast Cricket Club

East Coast Cricket Club Local Phoenix cricket club developing talent and grooming the youth to create a fierce passion for the game!

East Coast Cricket Club was founded by Mervin Naidoo and the late Amarasen Govender in 2012 with the aim of improving cricket opportunities for the youth in the local communities. The club is taking giant leaps year after year in developing cricket and nurturing the vast amounts of talent that goes unnoticed from these local communities. The club was recently crowned champions of the KZN Challenge League Stream 2 for the 2016/2017 season. The club currently has 3 senior teams and 2 junior teams.

An awesome start to the much anticipated formal cricket season that the Covid 19 Pandemic had curtailed the previous year. Captained by 16 year old Zander the bowlers restricted the opposition to 98/4 . Youngsters Monde(48*) and Otsile's(30) excellent 71 opening partnership saw the lads reach the target in 15.1 overs for 1 wicket. Looking forward to a successful season ahead.

Good evening East Coast Family💙 .We are excited that the 2021/22 season is about to commence. Due to covid we missed out out on the past season .East Coast Cricket Club are glad that both the KZNCU and EMCU leagues for the 21/22 season will be going ahead.
We have 4 senior teams and 2 junior teams participating in these respective leagues.
