Another Easter and school holiday done and dusted. We're getting some rave reviews, this is just one of them.

We had an absolutely brilliant experience. Suitable for ALL levels of riding skills, Sarah and her horses are fabulous. Exceptionally well trained, deeply loved and respected rescue horses, and Sarah is a wizard with both horses and humans - able to gauge very quickly what level one is at, and manages the individuals accordingly. All with a disarming sense of humour and charm. At no point did any of us feel unsafe or unsupported. She's also very knowledgeable about the floral in the area, which made the ride even more interesting.

We had an amazing ride to the beach, were able to trot and canter through the waves and had a mid-ride pit-stop for snacks and drinks and a swim with the horses (thanks to fabulous weather and low tide). Returning through the dunes was the cherry on the top.

None of this would of course be possible without the stellar team supporting her by keeping us all safe, entertained and laughing along the way. Grooms, volunteers and family alike. A big shout out to Cos for his high speed filming and all round good vibes, and of course the talented Chris, who made us all want to channel him and look as light as a feather on the horses.

It was a pleasure and a privilege to spend half a day with this motley crew, and would highly recommend it to anyone with even just a vague interest in horses and riding. A definite must for anyone already keen on riding.

Pure freedom running with horses on the beach!

Our day started off stressful when the original place we had booked with (Noordhoek) cancelled on us last minute. We searched Google and found Sarah at Pearly Beach, and from the very first message she was amazing. She responded right away, was incredibly accommodating, and worked with us to make a same-day ride happen — which honestly felt like a miracle.

From the moment we arrived, Sarah and her team made us feel completely at ease. The vibe was super chill and relaxed, yet we always felt very safe and well looked after on the horses. She treated everyone there like family — introducing us to each horse by name, making sure we were properly fitted, and even bringing snacks and drinks along for the ride.

We rode about 20 minutes from her farm to the beach, which was perfect for getting comfortable and bonding with our horses. Once we reached the beach, the experience went to another level. We were able to canter and gallop along the ocean, which was absolutely unforgettable. Running with the horses on the beach is something I’ll never forget and felt like pure freedom.

The price was also much better than other places we looked into as well, especially considering the personal attention, care, and overall experience we received.

This was truly a bucket-list experience, and we are so grateful that our plans changed and led us to Sarah and her team. If you’re considering beach riding in South Africa, don’t think twice — this is the place. We would do it again in a heartbeat and hopefully will be!
