WE HAVE 2 NEW STUDENTS IN OUR DAYPROGRAM… 🐦🐦❤️

And yes… they keep messing on our floor. 😂

When these two little sparrows first flew into our venue, our honest thought was:

“We need to get them out. They’re going to mess on our newly cleaned tiles!”

And they did.

But then we remembered:

“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care.” — Matthew 10:29

And there they were.

TWO. Not one. TWO.

Just like the verse says.

They fly around while the Dayprogram is running. They chirp during Celebrate Recovery. They sit on the rafters watching us talk about restoration.

And yes… they mess on the beautiful clean floor our guys worked so hard to clean. 😅

So today, we cleaned it again.

Because how could we chase them out?

If we preach that there is room for the broken, the overlooked and the unwanted… then we have to live it too.

For years, society has told many of our Dayprogram men:

“You’re too much trouble.”
“You make a mess.”
“Stay outside.”

But Jesus says something completely different.

If the Father notices two tiny sparrows, how much more does He see you?

And that brings us back to the prophetic painting we received from Salomè Langman, CEO of Ma’s for Wellington, with two simple but powerful words:

I SEE YOU.

God sees these two little sparrows.

And He sees the 7 men who started our Dayprogram on 1 August — and are ALL still here 6 weeks later.❤️

At Walking on Water and Ma’s for Wellington, we believe:

No one is too small.
No one is too broken.
No one is too messy to belong.

So welcome to the family, little sparrows. 🐦🐦❤️

MEET THE HEART BEHIND OUR DAYPROGRAM: CHRISTOFF RADYN ❤️

Every great program needs structure. But more than that, it needs someone who creates an environment where people feel safe enough to grow, change and heal.

For us, that person is Christoff.

As the facilitator of our Dayprogram, Christoff has been walking alongside our 7 students since they started on 1 August — and 5 weeks later, all 7 are still here. That says something.

Christoff isn’t the loudest person in the room. He doesn’t need to be.

He leads with patience. With kindness. With grace.

He listens more than he speaks. He sees potential where others might only see problems. And somehow, whether he’s sitting on a crooked chair with a book in his hand or sharing a massive belly laugh, he has a way of making people feel seen, accepted and safe.

And that is exactly what makes him so special.

That’s his superpower.

While others try to get results out of people, Christoff gets the best out of people because he pours grace into people.

And when you lead people with grace, something beautiful happens — they begin to take ownership, they begin to believe in themselves, and they begin to give their best.

We’ve seen it happen in the little things this past week:

🪑 Deneo and Waldee taking the initiative to hand-stitch the bus seat — without being asked.

🌿 Gordon and Deneo bringing lilies to beautify the venue.

These things may seem small, but they tell a much bigger story.

This is what happens when a culture of ownership, joy and responsibility is created — not through pressure, but through example.

Christoff, you are invaluable to Walking on Water Ministry. You are invaluable to these men. You are the right person, in the right place, at the right time, with exactly the right heart.

Thank you for leading not with a heavy hand, but with a soft heart and a big smile.

We appreciate you more than words can say. ❤️

Drop a ❤️ in the comments to show Christoff some love!

“I SEE YOU” 🐑💧😭

Some gifts are beautiful.
Some are meaningful.
And then there are gifts that feel like God Himself is speaking.

Today, our Dayprogram received one of those gifts.

Salomè Langman, CEO of Ma's for Wellington, walked through our doors carrying a prophetic painting she had painted with her own hands.

She calls it “I SEE YOU.”

As Salomè painted, she felt the Lord leading her to an image of two sheep, forehead to forehead — gentle, close, and an intimate connection.

And she heard Him whisper:
“I see you.”

Those words stopped us in our tracks.

For our 7 students who started this journey on 1 August, fighting for recovery and rebuilding their lives every day, those words mean everything.

Because so many have spent years feeling unseen.

Unseen in their pain.
Unseen in their effort.
Unseen on the streets.
Unseen in prison.
Unseen by family.
Unseen by society.

But God sees them.

He sees the man who gets up and shows up for Celebrate Recovery.
He sees the one who cleans the bins and the bus without being asked.
He sees the one who brings lilies to make the house beautiful.
He sees the one who repairs a broken bus seat.
He sees the small victories nobody else notices.

He sees the trying.
He sees the growth.
He sees the becoming.

Hagar said it in Genesis 16:13:
“You are the God who sees me.”
El Roi — the God who sees.

This painting is more than art. It is a daily reminder of what God is doing here — teaching broken men to lean in again, trust again, be gentle again and belong again.

Salomè, thank you for listening to the Lord and obeying. 🤍

To Salomè and Ma’s for Wellington — thank you for walking alongside Walking on Water Ministry for so many years. Your friendship, partnership and Kingdom-mindedness mean more than you know.

This painting will hang in our Dayprogram as a reminder to everyone who walks through those doors:

You are seen.
You are known.
You are not forgotten.

Please help us thank Salomè in the comments. 👇🤍
