Paarl Cricket Club Annual Awards Evening – 11 April 2026

What a special evening it turned out to be at the Paarl Cricket Club Clubhouse on Saturday, 11 April 2026, as players, supporters, families, and friends came together to celebrate the 2025/26 cricket season.

The clubhouse was filled with excitement and pride as we reflected on a season that, while it may not have brought home silverware, was undoubtedly one of growth, resilience, and great team spirit across all our squads. From our juniors to our senior teams and ladies side, every player contributed to what we can proudly call a great and successful season.

The evening was not just about awards, but about recognizing the commitment and passion that each individual brings to the club. It was fantastic to see so many of our young players winning awards and being acknowledged for their hard work and dedication, especially those who continue to rise despite challenges. Moments like these remind us why Paarl Cricket Club NPO is more than just a club, it’s a family.

A big thank you must go out to everyone who played a role in making the evening a success – from the club's management team and to those who contributed in any way. Your efforts ensured a memorable night for all in attendance. Thank you also to our caterer Bite Eatery Paarl the food was as always delicious!!

After 20 matches, the Round Robin stage has come to an end. Maties tops the log, with Paarl CC, Van Der Stel and Paarl East joining them in the Semi-Finals! 🔥

The Semi-Finals will see Maties facing off against 4th place Paarl East in semi final 1.

Paarl CC will meet Van Der Stel in semi final 2.

Paarl Cricket Club regained the top position in Cricket Boland's Super League competition today, when they outplayed Maties for the 2nd time in 2 weeks.
Paarl won by 3 wickets with 3 balls to spare, after restricting the students to 114 in 20 overs. Captain Luke Philander led from the front, capturing the first 2 wickets, with solid support from fellow spin bowlers Henrico Albertus, Herschelle Poggenpoel, Stefan Conradie and Waylain September. Conradie also top scored with 35, assisted by commendable innings from openers Abraim Jacobs and Darryll Hendricks

Paarl CC scored their 2nd victory in Boland's Super League competition today, to move to the top of the log with 2 bonus points. After defeating Vredenburg-Saldanha yesterday, Paarl East were restricted to 116 thanks to excellent bowling by Paarl's captain Luke Philander (4/14) and Henrico Albertus (4/34).
After the loss of 2 early wickets, the champions settled down with 81 unbeaten runs from Clyde Reeves-Fortuin, well supported by Keegan Davids
