After an incredible chapter, Yokai MMA will officially be closing its doors.

To all our members, supporters, and everyone who has been part of the journey, thank you. This is not the end, but the beginning of a new chapter.
We will be migrating our members to Titans MMA, where we are excited to launch Tengu BJJ by Cameron Pritchard.
The focus moving forward will be Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, No-Gi, wrestling, and building a strong grappling community together.
Thank you for being part of the Yokai family. We look forward to seeing you on the mats at Tengu BJJ.

🥋 BIG NEWS FROM YOKAI MMA 🥋

As of 1 July, Yokai MMA will be evolving into a dedicated grappling academy.

Our focus will be on developing the strongest grapplers in Paarl through:

✅ Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (Gi) ✅ Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (No-Gi) ✅ Wrestling ✅ Kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

By specialising in grappling, we're able to offer: 🔥 More classes 🔥 Better coaching focus 🔥 A stronger learning environment 🔥 More opportunities for students to progress

MMA classes will no longer form part of our regular timetable.

However, private lessons will still be available for those wanting to train MMA, striking, wrestling, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, or a combination of disciplines.

This change allows us to double down on what we do best and continue building the home of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and grappling in Paarl.

Thank you to everyone who has supported Yokai MMA on this journey. We're excited for this next chapter and look forward to growing alongside our amazing community.

Two years ago, we opened our doors with one clear vision — to build more than fighters.
Today we celebrate 2 years of growth, discipline, resilience, and community.
We’ve had the privilege of impacting many lives — watching young boys grow into disciplined young men, building confidence through hard work, and instilling values that go far beyond the mats: respect, accountability, and mental toughness.
Our standards have never dropped. We remain committed to high-level, technical mixed martial arts with real knowledge transfer.

The grading process consisted of 3 parts:
1. Programming and teaching a class using techniques learned at Yokai.
2. Demonstrating linking and sequencing techniques.
3. Rolling withall our students present, from white to black belt.
