Our final Operation 36 event
Good day parents

Thank you to everyone who joined us this past Sunday for our final Operation 36 event. The wind made things interesting and put everyone to the test on the greens, but the juniors handled it with great spirit. Congratulations to Jayden Jensen and Jean-Luc du Plessis, who both managed to shoot 36 or better and move up to the next division. They will now be playing in Division 3.

From next year, we will move to the Target 36 system. It is better suited to South African conditions and is fully supported by Boland Golf. Each child will start in the same division in Target 36 that they qualified for in Op36.

Our juniors will get a taste of Target 36 on the 30th of November, when a Tour Event will be hosted at Paarl GC.

All our juniors are invited to play on the day. The event will differ a bit from the usual Op36 events because the children will play different distances according to age.

The Target 36 event on Sunday, 30 Nov will start at 12h00. The entry & registration details will be sent out early next week.

We also want to remind everyone about the Junior Club Champs on the 7th of December. The children with handicaps will compete for gross and nett prizes over 18 holes. There will be a special division for the younger children ( ages 7 to 12/13 ), who will compete over 9 holes. Details on how to enter will be communicated soon.
