On the 18th of August our Cricket Club hosted a Title Sponsorship Launch with Honchos.

Our MC for the evening was the charismatic Myron Naicker.

Our Stellar Speaker Lineup, with the likes of Prof. Ashwin Desai and Prof. Logan Naidoo captivated our attendees as they wove through cricket history.

We heard from the president of our club Fa-eez Jaffar, he reminded us of the clubs humble beginnings which was founded back in 1979 by the late Yusuf Wariyawa and Faizel Cassim.

The marketing director of Honchos,Zak Suleman, in his speech expressed his excitement for this new venture.

Our 1st Team Captain Zakariya Paruk spoke passionately about the club being a close-knit family and their commitment to playing a positive brand of cricket.

We also heard a heartwarming speech from Luthando Mazibuko.He is a 16yr old aspiring cricketer who was brought to the club at the age of 12 under mentorship of the late great Baboo ebrahim.He echoed the sentiments of our team captain and said all they players made him feel like he was part of a brotherhood at the club.

Finally the clubs (PRO) Ebrahim Yacoob Badat explained that while we had achieved so much already, our journey is far from over. We are eager to welcome more sponsors on board to help us reach our ambitious goals and a wish list for the club.

The delicious food from Honchos was an absolute hit, leaving everyone with smiles and full bellies.
