The legs might be tired after conquering three stages of running (and stage 2.5 of dancing), but the finish line is near.

A mix of emotions — happy to finish, but not quite ready to say goodbye.

One last stretch. One last push. One last moment to take it all in.

Stage 2 of the hits different.

It starts with flowing trails, big views and good vibes, but that changes quickly once Raubenheimer Dam comes into sight and the climbs start to bite.

Walk it or run it, that koppie doesn’t care — it’s going to make you work either way.

You’ll drop down, find a bit of rhythm again, and then realise the final 10km just keeps climbing, slowly but surely wearing the legs down.

Through spekboom, along farm roads and onto singletrack, this stage builds all the way to the finish.

Fun in the Klein Karoo hits a little different, but it’s so rewarding.
