The KZN Kickboxing Provincial trials were held on Saturday 7 March in Glen Anil, Durban.
In the true spirit of KZN, our athletes display of sportsmanship was above all else. There were new experiences for some and learnings for everyone. Well done to every athlete.

The WAKO World Kickboxing Championships 2027 will be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan!
WAKO Uzbekistan chairman Mr. Aybek Narmetov and the WAKO President Mr. Roy Baker have officially signed the agreement to host the Seniors World Championship in November 2027, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, marking an important step for the development of kickboxing in the Asian region.
The signing ceremony took place during WAKO World Cup in Bangkok, gathering leading officials of the WAKO Kickboxing Community.
This is also a strong mark of Uzbekistan’s growing role as a host of major international kickboxing events.

The KZN Kickboxing Association awards evening was a beautiful night of celebration. To all the athletes, coaches, instructors & supporters - thank you for your participation and continued contribution throughout the year . Thank you for sharing in the KZNKA awards evening and making it a huge success. Our athletes were outstanding with such display of dedication & sportsmanship to the sport. Well done to everyone who received an award. You have each made a positive difference in kickboxing in KZN. Thank you 🥊🙏
