Our team have trained hard and are looking strong. 2 more days to the start line – we are proud to be supporting them on this Cape Epic Epic Series adventure.

The guys will arrive at Meerendal Wine Estate for the prologue on Sunday and then head to Hermanus to officially start the race. From there they will make their way through and over the rugged Western Cape Mountains, to the finish line at Val de Vie 8 days later.

We are cheering you on all the way!

It's been a long two weeks off the bike let me tell you. Probably the Second longest two weeks of my life! My body needed rest and time to recover and reset. Also had some time to think about a couple of big decisions that will have to be taken but for now, I'm just glad I can start riding again.
Bring on 2023!!!

First in the bag.✅ Finished 7 place overall. Had the privilege to ride with . This guy is an absolute legend. Learned so much from him over the last couple of days. This was not an easy one. Really had to go quite deep a few times. Time to rest and recover for a couple of days and then we start building toward 2023...

A massive thank you to and for all the support and help out there! You two made our lives a lot easier.
Also want to say thank you to for keeping our bikes on the sharp end and always helping out.

Last race for 2022 coming up this weekend at the
Time to get all my ducks🦆 in a row for 2023!!!
Super excited for this one and nervous I'm not going to lie. This time no solo riding for me. Such a privilege and opportunity to ride with
I'm probably going to be hanging on for dear life on the downhills. But hey there's no better way to learn than to be outside your comfort zone

Looks like there will be a proper field of riders at the start...

Interprovincial XCM FS vs NC✅
Definitely not my day to be honest. It might not look that way and the results definitely don't tell the whole story. Really struggled with my sinuses today. Literally to the point where I wanted to stop. Basically, a constant mental battle for 3 hours and 12 minutes and to top it off my legs were completely dead.
I'm very satisfied and content with how I managed the whole race and still be able to walk away with First place overall.🥇
Something I read in a book the other day that has literally opened a few doors was being emotional Flexible. Definition below⬇️
Emotional flexibility is about holding everything at once happiness, joy, and enthusiasm at the same time as anger, sadness, and frustration-and being able to feel differently at various points throughout the same day and perhaps even the same hour. Embracing the murkiness and cultivating the emotional flexibility required to do so--yields large dividends. Resilience comes from deliberately practicing joy, even during awful times; happiness is intensified by experiencing and feeling deep sadness.

This doesn't have to be Happiness, joy, enthusiasm, sadness, anger, or frustration. It can literally be anything Emotional that's going on inside or outside your body.
Massive thanks to everyone for all the support.

Free State Criterium championships P2🥈

I'm very satisfied with the way I rode and how it turned out in the end. A couple of months ago I made a mental shift regarding local races and how I would approach them.
1. Safety always comes first.
2. Go as hard as you can and then go over your limit and see where you blow up even if it costs you the race.
3. Be Proactive instead of Reactive.

Next race: Northern Cape XCM Interprovincial 1 October.

Northern Cape Interprovincial Road race 15 October.

Wines to Whales Shiraz 4-6 November.
