All training is officially done and dusted all the hard work, sweat, and preparation are behind us, and now it's time to take on the big stage. We’re heading to the SA Champs in Durban we couldn’t be more excited!

Our team has put in countless hours of dedication and effort to get to this point, and now we’re ready to give it everything we’ve got.

We're not just going to compete, we’re going to show what we’re made of, support one another every step of the way, and be the best team we can possibly be!

🇿🇦 We’re so grateful to everyone who made this incredible day in Fisherhaven such a huge success! From the laughter and excitement around the jumping castle from Bounce Villa Hermanus, where the kids had the best time, to the delicious slushies from Sweet Moments that kept everyone cool and happy - it was a day full of joy, color, and community.

A big thank you to Teacher Pathways for organizing everything so beautifully, and to The Boogie Shack for bringing such an amazing energy and helping create such a fun-filled atmosphere! The open mic musicians added the perfect touch with their fantastic performances - thank you for sharing your talent and keeping the vibe alive. 🎤✨

And of course, none of this would have been possible without the wonderful Fisherhaven locals, and the support of the Fisherhaven and Fisherhaven Boat Club - your warmth and community spirit made this event truly special.

🇿🇦🏆Plett Wedge Classic 2025 kicked off on Tuesday, 8 July, with a Groms Day that included a coaching clinic, a treasure hunt where kids won bitcoin to spend on the beach, and a team relay comp. Hermanus was represented by Finn van der Merwe (7) and Theara Bester (9), who finished second🥈 in the relay. 🥇🏆Theara also took home Best Girl Rider of the Day, winning a Pride bodyboard from local shop The Boogie Shack.
