I started running almost 7 years ago after my first boy was born, simply to lose the extra pregnancy weight. I never imagined it would become so much more than that.
Since then, running has given me strength, confidence, discipline, clarity and time for myself. It has so many great benefits - improving fitness, endurance, mental health and energy levels, and it complements resistance training so well too. For me, the combination of both has helped me feel stronger, healthier and more balanced overall. 🙌🏼
Some days it’s hard, some days it feels amazing, but every run reminds me how far I’ve come, not just physically, but mentally too 😌
Grateful for the journey and everything it continues to teach me. 🙏🏻
