Consistency vs. intensity. Which one actually gets results?

We recommend 2 to 3 Pilates sessions a week for noticeable changes in posture, strength, and flexibility. Not 6. Not daily doubles. Just showing up regularly.

But then there's the 45-minute Bootcamp crowd who'll tell you a single session that challenges every muscle group is worth more than a week of gentle movement.

So here's the real question: do you build results through steady, consistent practice, or do you need that hard reset every few days to actually feel progress?

As a biokineticist, I spend a lot of time talking about movement, exercise and physical health. But one thing Iโ€™ve become increasingly aware of is how many people are trying to function on an empty battery.

We celebrate being busy.
We praise productivity.
We tell ourselves weโ€™ll rest when everything is done.

The problem is that everything is never done.

And yet recovery is where the magic happens.

Itโ€™s where muscles repair.
Itโ€™s where memories consolidate.
Itโ€™s where our nervous system resets.
Itโ€™s where we become more resilient.

Thatโ€™s the inspiration behind our Winter Solstice Sleep & Recovery Retreat.
