When your breath is shallow and held, your nervous system reads it as a threat signal.
Not sometimes. Constantly.
This is where the anxiety that won’t settle comes from. This is where the pelvic floor that won’t release comes from.
Slow nasal breathing tells your nervous system: safe. Regulated. Not an emergency.
That’s what The Stack does. Every single day.

Runners, your pelvic floor absorbs impact every single stride.
If your breath timing is off, your pressure system is off, and your pelvic floor is managing load it shouldn’t have to manage alone.
This is why some runs feel fine and others don’t. It’s not fitness. It’s pressure management.
Your cycle affects it too.

My book is live. 🌿
Rhythm Reset - The Breath Coach's Guide to Your Pelvic Floor, Cycle, Training and Nervous System.
I wrote it because women kept coming to me after years of symptoms they'd been told were "just part of being a woman."
The leaking. The heaviness. The training sessions that make no sense. The anxiety that lives in the body.
None of it is random. None of it is permanent. And it almost always starts with breath.
If you know a woman who trains, runs, had a baby, or has a pelvic floor she doesn't fully understand, this is for her.

You’re not crazy.
Sometimes it feels like you can’t get a full breath. You keep sighing. You yawn all the way through the day. Your chest feels tight.
And the strange part? You’re breathing the whole time.
When we’re stressed, even subtly, we often start over breathing. Not dramatic hyperventilating. Just slightly faster, slightly bigger, slightly higher in the chest.
Small, but over time your brain reads it as: something isn’t right. And that triggers fight or flight.
So you try to take deeper breaths. And the cycle continues.
Here’s the thing, most breathless women I work with aren’t lacking oxygen. They’re stuck in a subtle pattern of over breathing.
When we gently retrain, slower, quieter, lower, through the nose, that air hunger softens.
You are not broken. Your system is just a little overstimulated.

You’re already doing a lot of the right things.

The movement. The rehab. The appointments. You’re showing up and putting in the work.

But somewhere underneath all of it, something still doesn’t feel quite right. Still a little disconnected. Still not fully at home in your body.

Here’s what often gets missed: breath is the foundation that connects everything else. Your diaphragm, your pelvic floor, your deep core, your nervous system, they all work as one team. And they’re all coordinated through your breath.

It’s not that what you’ve been doing hasn’t helped. It’s that this piece, the breath, is what ties it all together.

When we get that right, everything else starts to work better.

That’s where I come in. 💫

Is this you? 👇
Women and athletes who are done with surface, level fixes.
🌬️ Mamas who don’t feel at home in their own body since birth.
🌬️ Women who have tried everything for leaking, pressure or tension, except their breath.
💪 Athletes who are fit and consistent but still hitting a ceiling.
🧘 Anyone who carries their anxiety in their chest, not just their head.
If that’s you, I’d love to chat.
