Kidzone Holiday Camp is located in the Limpopo Province, on a 300 ha farm in Naboomspruit. Here young and teen campers can escape their regular lives and experience an unforgettable and unique adventure. Our mission as a camp is to provide the ultimate holiday experience to teenagers and younger campers , all while offering a safe and positive inspiring environment. Since we started Kidzone in 2002 our philosophy has been one of inclusion and a non competitive spirit that brings children together. Kidzone believes in the individual and your right to free choice. Letting our campers choose their own schedule ensures they are focused, dedicated and excited to be at camp. Our location is a huge part of the success we experience with each camp. The clean air, farm life, and year round good weather, and malaria free, are fuel for our campers spirits and helps children remember what holidays should be about, fun with friends. Our campers are boys and girls that range anywhere from 6 to 16 years old, and come from all over South Africa. We take pride in catering to each of our campers’ wants and needs, ensuring that they will have the best experience possible. Our kids love the outdoors and are not afraid to get dirty or back down from a challenge. Whether it is their first time away from home, or a returning camper, our camp care givers provide the highest levels of support and care.We want to make sure that each camper understands that they are our top priority and we are willing to move mountains for them. We have a whole group of care givers, and their only job is to ensure that their group of campers is happy, busy and getting everything they want from camp. Care givers also speak to parents regularly and give them updates on their kids while at camp. Location
Our camp is fortunate enough to have the awe inspiring Waterberg Mountains surrounding us.Our location also helps to connect the campers with nature, increasing their awareness with the outdoors and the world surrounding them. What is Kidzone Holiday Camp all about? We are a non-competitive sleep away camp for boys and girls 6 to 16 years old (young, tween and teenage campers). We emphasize team spirit and encourage our adventure campers to discover the great outdoors and their inner explorer in a safe and nurturing environment. We make everyday exciting, challenging, memorable, and incredibly fun. We are all about the laughs and smiles that happen every day. What is the accommodation like? Are they safe and comfortable for my child? Kids are accommodated gender specific inside our 7 bedroom farmstead. The rooms are large with separate bathrooms, huge kitchens and dining rooms. Campers can enjoy wide open spaces where we do our activities on a 300 ha farm. We know with teens and children that cleanliness can be an issue, we make sure the rooms are clean and sanitary every day. Each morning after breakfast the campers must pass a bunk inspection and prove their bunk is the cleanest. This adds to the quality of the overall experience that the campers have at Kidzone Holiday Camp. Where is Kidzone Holiday Camp? How will my child get there? We are 2 ½ hours away from Johannesburg, and 1 ¾ hours from Pretoria on the N1 route. Situated in the beautiful Bushveld in the Waterberg. If we live out of the Limpopo Province, can my child still attend the camp? Of course! We invite young campers from all over South Africa to come to our camp, and many do! Each summer we have kids from every single province in South Africa joining the camp. Why should we trust you? We are a second generation family run business that puts our campers first above all. We are a family, with 4 children of our own. Also, we have 13 years of fun safe summers. The South African Health Department visit us three times a year. We are also recognised by the Dept of Child Welfare in South Africa, and support some less fortunate children as part of our community obligation. All of our staff undergo extensive background checks and referencing before being hired by us personally. We uphold the best camping practices and pride ourselves on running the safest possible summer camp. Kidzone Holiday Camp is all we do, we spend all year making sure we are the best, most caring and responsive to our campers needs. Who looks after my child? The owners live on camp as do the care givers.. Every room has care givers living with the campers. We have a registered nurses on call 24 hours a day, and qualified emergency First Aid and CPR staff on site., and our camp doctor is only 20 minutes away. Our care givers , are an extra layer of supervision and caring. They ensure parents are kept well informed and that your child is safe, eating well, happy, making friends and getting everything they want from camp. Can my child call home during the camp? Yes, your child will call you once a week as will our child giver.. You are able to call to chat to your child as well. We know an overnight camp can be hard for the parents and would never say you could not speak to your child. The more a camper talks to his parents the stronger any homesickness will get. We do ask that you try to hold out and speak to your child on their regular call night, but again we will never say you cannot talk to your child. My child is a picky eater, has allergies, is vegetarian or vegan, etc. Will they have something to eat at every meal? We take great pride in the food served to our adventure campers and make sure every camper eats well. We cater to most specific diets and always have something for vegetarians and vegans at every meal. We can prepare food for almost any camper’s allergies and for

Adventure
Kidzone Holiday Camp lets you choose the outdoor activities that are right for you. Every day is filled with amazing opportunities to explore new places and try something different. Campers can start the day on horseback, mountain biking, mountain climbing, hiking, fun-runs, or fun-walking. Our trained staff can help campers develop their skills in the outdoors or learn an entirely new hobby. The choice is yours. Fitness
The fitness activities are a major part of Kidzone Holiday Camp , and we have a real focus on the health and well-being of our campers. Our staff is ready to provide sport-specific training, guidance for general fitness. There’s nothing quite like the experience of exercising your mind and body in the great outdoors, surrounded by the unspoiled beauty of our farm. Sports
Play different sports everyday! Getting together to play hard at your favorite sports is a great way to build a strong sense of team spirit and togetherness, and at Kidzone Holiday Camp we can help campers play within a structure that embraces the fun of a challenge while promoting healthy competition. This is a great opportunity to develop athletic ability or start learning a whole new set of skills. Sustainability
At Kidzone Holiday Camp we want to help our campers learn to love and respect nature. We believe in going green to provide a safe, ecologically-responsible camping experience, and we teach our campers our responsibilities and help them learn how we can impact the world around us. Our classes include environmental and earthship projects, gardening, taking care of livestock, visiting game, cattle and crocodile farms. Out here, surrounded by the beautiful, unspoiled mountains, campers will have a very real, very applicable lesson in the importance of sustainability. Our Commitment We grow more fruits and vegetables each year as we teach about farming. We feed our crops with our own organic compost and collected rainwater, and we even incorporate recycling into some of our art projects. You will learn more about how our camp is striving to make a difference and teach the next generation about environmental alternatives. Trips
At Kidzone Holiday Camp, we embark on at least two trips every week, which usually end at the local ice cream parlor. These excursions might include everything from The Waterpark and visiting game farms and crocodile farms, and going horse riding. Activities
