We are reaching out to the community for your support in a critical campaign to protect *Bryanston Sports Club*, a cherished landmark that has served countless families and friends in the Johannesburg Bowls District for years.
The club recently faced the threat of a potential sale. While we have received a recent update that the Johannesburg Property Company (JPC) has withdrawn the sale of Bryanston Sports Club in Ward 102 and is now considering a long-term lease, this still presents significant financial challenges and raises concerns about a lack of due process and public participation. The outcome for Bryanston will set a precedent for other sports clubs in a similar predicament.
Bryanston Sports Club is more than just a sports facility; it is a place of friendship, family, and positive community contribution. Lawn bowls is a "sport for life" that has provided joy and a strong sense of community to individuals of all ages.
