What a weekend! 💙

On Saturday, 1 August, DFC took to the stage at the Elements of Dance SA KZN Regionals at the iZulu Theatre, and our dancers made every moment count. Watching them perform with so much confidence, passion and heart reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

Our results speak for themselves:
✨ 13 Pro Gold
✨ 36 Gold
✨ 30 Silver+
✨ 4 Silver

Along the way, we also celebrated multiple Overall Category Winners and Age Group Winners.

A huge shout-out to our incredible Sumone Fourie, who was crowned Overall Winner of the Competition. Sumone, we are so proud of you.

The perfect ending to an unforgettable day was hearing DFC announced as Best Dance School. There really aren't words to describe that feeling.

To our dancers, thank you for trusting us and giving your all every time you step onto a stage. To our parents, thank you for every early morning, late night, costume, lift and cheer from the audience. This achievement belongs to every single one of you.

We are so proud to be the DFC family. 💙✨

BDX is a one of a kind event where you will be working with 15 international choreographers alongside dancers from 20 countries in a week long experience. Including VIP get togethers, industry networking opportunities and activities and ofcourse an entry into the Barcelona Dance Experience Championship.💃🏻 Thank you Elements of Dance SA for creating these amazing opportunities

This past weekend was absolutely incredible at the Synthesis Convention! 💃🔥

A huge thank you to the phenomenal Pinto Ferreira, Julia Smit and Veronique Hall for sharing your talent, knowledge and passion so generously. What an honour to learn from such powerhouses in the dance industry!

And thank you to Elements of Dance SA for bringing these outstanding choreographers to KZN and creating such an amazing platform for growth and inspiration.

Our girls learnt so much, pushed themselves out of their comfort zones and embraced every moment.
