🏃‍♂️ Closest Winning Time Competition

🥇 1st Place – Andre Vogues
Only 24 seconds off his predicted time of 8:20:24! 💪🔥

🥈 2nd Place – Layle-Rose Cathey
Just 28 seconds off her predicted time. 👏

🥉 3rd Place – Douglas Slogrove
A mere 1 minute 10 seconds off! 👏

🏆 Team Competition

A five-way tie saw Michelle Sim, Layle Cathey, Marissa Groenewald, Jordan Silver and Jabulani Littler all correctly predict three teams.

The tie-break came down to correctly predicting the highest-ranked teams, and with a score of 6, correctly selecting the 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed teams, our winner was:

🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ COMRADES MARATHON 2026 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

What an incredible day at the Ultimate Human Race!

A massive congratulations to every PDAC member who stood on the start line in Durban and made their way to the finish in Pietermaritzburg. Whether you were chasing a personal best, a medal, a finish, or simply the challenge of taking on 85.7 km, you showed tremendous courage, determination and grit.

Comrades is about so much more than running. It is about the early mornings, the countless training kilometres, the sacrifices made along the way, the friendships built on the road, and the unwavering support from family, friends and fellow club members.

A special thank you to all the seconders, supporters, volunteers and family members who spent the day on the route encouraging runners, handing out refreshments, offering words of motivation and helping make the day possible. Your contribution is an essential part of every Comrades journey.

Today we celebrate every runner, every seconder and every supporter who proudly represented PDAC.

⚡🏃‍♀️ PDAC at the Phantane Durban Street Mile 🏃‍♂️⚡

Congratulations to all our PDAC athletes who took to the streets and gave it their all. A special shout-out to June Watson, who claimed 🥉 3rd place in the Ladies 60+ category in the 10km. 👏 💛

Start of the Abbott World Majors at the Cape Town Marathon… Look out for our very own Maxwell Sobetshe who finished in a time of 2:36 which earned him a silver medal in the Majors and a fourth place in the CT marathon overall. Well done Maxwell!
