SILVANO’S TIMER was given a patient yet confident ride to win the third race out at Hollywoodbets Greyville over 1800m on the poly track earlier today. Keagan de Melo had the Silvano gelding some eight lengths off the pace for most of the race, and upon entering the home stretch he reeled in the leaders to win rather smartly. Lots of positives can be taken from this win, as it was his third run after an 18-month layoff and during the running of this race he cast a shoe. Silvano’s Time is out of the Captain Al mare Tick Tock and was bred at Drakenstein Stud. Congratulations winning owners Khaya Stables(Pty)Ltd.
