Alpha Pride Safaris is a Hunting and Professional Outfit owned by Christo van Deventer, a dedicated hunter since the age of 6 years, where he grew up in the Limpopo Bushveld region of South Africa. Christo has been hunting as a Professional Hunter since 2004, first as a freelance Professional Hunter and then as a Hunting Outfitter. During his Professional Hunting career he has guided more than 450

clients on hunts throughout the southern parts of Africa. In his professional hunting career he has hunted more than 2250 African animals of which over 200 were dangerous game animals, especially lion and buffalo, but not excluding rhino, leopard and elephant. Christo believes in hunting the species in their natural environment. This means that he creates the opportunity to take down a mature animal, which is a good representative of its specie, with skill and caution in its natural environment. Here you are put in the animal’s known habitat and out-mastering it with your Professional Hunter’s technique and dexterity to get you up close and personal to take your shot and make your hunt a leading African experience. Christo and his wife Minrie live in the Kalahari region in the North West Province of South Africa. Both Christo and Minrie have a great passion for nature and the conservation thereof. Christo’s unique, open personality as a Professional Hunting guide forges deep friendships on safaris. He has an extraordinary passion for his work, with the goal of hunting for a lifetime. Minrie serves as concierge with a positive spirit, and no challenge that you encounter will be too big for her to resolve. She has an irreplaceable caring and charm and will ensure that all your comforts and catering needs are well attended to.
