We are extremely proud to announce the successful completion of our MPSD Clanwilliam Tour! 🏐💙

We are incredibly proud of all our girls. Regardless of where they finished, every player showed up, gave their best, played with heart, determination and represented MPSD with pride. They carried the MPSD flag very high and made us proud both on and off the court.

We are pleased to share our final results:

🏐 U14 MPSD 1 – 5th Place
🏐 U15 – Silver 🥈

🕊️ MPSD Mourns the Tragic Loss of Keisha Samuels 🕊️

It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that Mitchell's Plain Sub-District (MPSD) mourns the tragic passing of one of our young netball players, Keisha Samuels.

Keisha was a talented and passionate young woman who had a bright future ahead of her. She had dreams, aspirations, and so much life still to live. The senseless loss of such a promising young life to the ongoing gang violence that continues to plague our communities is truly heartbreaking.

No young person should lose their life simply for walking to a local shop. Our children deserve to grow up in safe communities where they can pursue their dreams without fear of becoming victims of senseless violence.

MPSD joins the entire netball fraternity in extending our deepest and most sincere condolences to BLACK FERNS Netball Club , her teammates, coaches, her beloved family, friends, school community, and everyone whose life was touched by Keisha. We pray that God grants you strength, comfort, and peace during this incredibly difficult time.

We also make an urgent appeal to the relevant authorities to intensify efforts to combat the ongoing gang violence and the trigger-happy gunmen who continue to rob our communities of innocent young lives. Our youth are dying, and enough is enough. Every child deserves the opportunity to dream, to achieve, and to live a full life.

Rest in eternal peace, Keisha Samuels. Your smile, your passion for netball, and your memory will forever remain in our hearts.

What an unforgettable day it was as we had the honour of hosting Bryntirion School from Wales at our netball courts yesterday.

From the moment they arrived, the atmosphere was absolutely electric! Our players, coaches, supporters and affiliates created a welcoming environment filled with passion, excitement, and true sportsmanship. The energy on and around the courts was something truly special.

We are incredibly proud to have showcased not only the talent within our district but also the warmth, unity, and spirit that make MPSD family so unique.

To our friends from Bryntirion School, thank you for visiting us. We hope you enjoyed every moment as much as we enjoyed hosting you. We wish you a safe journey and look forward to building a lasting friendship through the game we all love.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who played a part in making this visit such a memorable success. Together, we showed exactly what Mitchell's Plain Sub District is all about. 💙🏐
