Happy Mother’s Day to all our incredible moms and netball moms 💐
As we honour and celebrate each of you for the love, strength, patience, and dedication you bring not only to your families, but to our netball community. Thank you for the early mornings, the long days, the lifts to and from games, the washing of kits, the pep talks after tough matches, and the loud cheers from the sidelines. Every small act adds up to something truly meaningful.
Mothers hold a truly special place in our lives and in society. You are nurturers, teachers, protectors, and leaders. The values you pass on shape not only your children, but future generations. As the saying goes, “If you teach a woman to fish, she feeds a nation.” This speaks to the powerful and lasting impact a mother has your influence reaches far beyond what is seen, building stronger families, communities, and ultimately a stronger nation.
You are the backbone of our players’ journeys. Your encouragement builds confidence, your presence inspires resilience, and your support creates a sense of belonging both on and off the court. Whether you are celebrating victories or helping them rise after disappointment, you are always there and that makes all the difference.
Thank you for the sacrifices you make, often behind the scenes, and for the values you instill in our players discipline, respect, teamwork, and perseverance. Because of you, we are not just growing better athletes, but stronger, more determined individuals.
