🇿🇦 Youth Day at Ennerdale Stadium Parkrun 🇿🇦

What an incredible morning at Ennerdale Stadium Parkrun as we came together to celebrate Youth Day, honouring the courage, resilience, and spirit of South Africa's youth.

It was fantastic to see our parkrun community dressed in their national colours, proudly showing support for Bafana Bafana as they represent our nation on the world stage at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. ⚽🇿🇦

Today reminded us that sport has the power to unite, inspire, and create opportunities for future generations. From our youngest participants to our seasoned runners and volunteers, everyone played a part in making this celebration special.

A huge thank you to all runners, walkers, volunteers, and supporters who joined us. Together we continue to build a healthier, stronger, and more connected community.

The Ennerdale Stadium Parkrun family would like to wish Benton Summers all the very best as he takes on the legendary Comrades Marathon on 14 June 2026.

Your dedication, consistency, and commitment to running have inspired many of us week after week. We are incredibly proud of you and have no doubt that your hard work and determination will carry you every step of the way.

June has officially set in.
The ground is frozen, the air is crisp, and the wind feels like the dairy ilse in the supermarket.
But we have to applaud each and every Volunteer and participant who chose to scrap that warm winter blanket, and choose a 5km morning run over anything else
