Congratulations to the MAC 2026 Comrades participants.

We had 51 members starting the race with 44 medal finishers. That is a success rate of 86%.

We had 19 novice runners, the Class of 2026, which produced 16 medals, a success rate of 84%.

The team produced 1 sub-8 hour, 2 sub-9 hour finishes, 8 sub-10 hours and 9 sub-11 hours.

Novices produced 1 sub-9, 1 sub-10 and 5 sub-11 hour finishes.

Some of the team had us chewing our finger nails at the end but still made it home in time.

Well done to all 51 participants, we are proud of you all.

We also had three support tables operated by 14 support operators who tell me they all had a very busy day!

Thank you also goes to our Midvaal Local Municipality and our Midvaal Mayor Peter Teixeira for their support in our Comrades endeavor.

I think we did ourselves proud!

Just lining up is a huge achievement! We are proud of each of you! Even if it wasn't your day or if the clock wasn't on your side.

Having the whole race on Youtube was a massive improvement! Loved it. No race organising, cut off or other controversies we know off so far!
