We, as South Africans and residents of the Vaal, are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of 13 young learners who lost their lives in a collision between a scholar transport vehicle and a truck near Vanderbijlpark. Our heartfelt condolences go to the parents, guardians, families, and all those mourning this devastating loss.
This is a heartbreaking moment for our district. While no words can ease such pain, we extend our deepest sympathies and pray for the speedy and full recovery of the learners who remain hospitalised.
