Free Xpression Session Surf Shoot

Ever wanted a cool surf shot of yourself? Here's your chance. Myself and Richard Myburgh Surf wants to share the stoke of our local surfers, so we want to get you all in the water for an "Expression Session" where you can get a cool surf pic of yourself on the day. No need to be a good surfer, you just need to get on your feet and if I catch you through my lens then the image will be edited and is yours to keep.

Richard Myburgh Surf will announce the day depending on the weather predictions. So like and follow our pages to keep in touch.

Some rip tide advice

On Sunday, a visit to Melkbostrand beach ended in tragedy in as a 10 year old child was caught in a rip current and is sadly still missing.

Do you, your friends and family know how to react if you get caught in a rip current?

Here are some important tips that may help save a life.
1. Don’t fight the current
2. If you can, swim out of the current, then to shore
3. If you can’t escape, float or tread water
4. If you need help, call or wave for assistance
