Another successful year for the Golden Lions women rugby League "Jozi Women's rugby League". A very entertaining final between Pirates Ladies and the Soweto Eagles. Pirates won this season convincingly as they were unbeaten in the pool stages and went into the Final on top of the Log in their second consecutive year in the final. The Eagles didn't go down easily as they fought till the final whistle.

At the very end of a very long day!

The final between Orange Army Imbokodo’s Rugby and Mufulira ladies at the Golden Lions Annual 7's tournament was one for the books and had everyone at the edge of their seats!

The Zambian ladies took it in the end after scoring the winning try in Sudden death!

Thank you to all that were there to support! At the end of the day it was rugby that won!

Look out for our Jozi women's league update with us heading to round 2 of our fixtures.

The Semi Finals for the Jozi Women Rugby League are on!!
Both semi finals will kick off at 12 at the Wanderers Rugby Stadium (Kent Park stadium on Corlett Drive) .

UJ, who finished top of the league, will play Wanderers. Pirates will face Soweto Eagles 1.

There will be a cover charge of 10R.

The ladies games will be followed by the Wanderers gents against UJ.
