🎪✨ A Day of Carnival Magic and Splendour ✨🎪

For one enchanting day, Margate Country Club traded its usual attire for carnival colours, fairy-tale wonder, and a little bit of magic.

It felt as though the pages of a storybook had come to life, where clowns and cowboys wandered the fairways, laughter danced upon the breeze, and every corner of the course was touched by carnival splendour.

From the first tee shot to the final putt, the club was alive with friendship, fun, and the joyful spirit that makes days like these so special. Bright colours painted the landscape, cheerful smiles filled the air, and for a few wonderful hours, we were all part of something truly magical.

A heartfelt thank you to the 19th Tee Bistro for creating a celebration filled with joy, imagination, and unforgettable memories. What a spectacular carnival it was!

What an absolute pleasure and privilege it was to host the Lower South Coast SAGES Closed Club Championships yesterday.

This past Tuesday, our incredible Senior Men’s League team reminded us all what passion, camaraderie, dedication and true sportsmanship look like.

With tremendous pride and admiration, we celebrate a phenomenal victory against both Port Shepstone County Club and Southbroom Golf Club, winning every individual match with an outstanding 6/0 result.

What an extraordinary accomplishment gentlemen!

To each and every player — thank you. Thank you for representing Margate Country Club with such dignity, heart and excellence. Your commitment to the game, your loyalty to one another, and the spirit with which you compete do not go unnoticed.

You are not simply golfers on a course; you are gentlemen who continue to inspire pride within our club and community. The friendships you build, the laughter you share, and the memories you create are incredibly precious.

Last Thursday we had the absolute privilege of hosting Kaz on the golf course as she celebrated her birthday. What a truly wonderful and precious lady she is.

Moments like these remind us why Margate Country Club holds such a special place in so many hearts. We are deeply honoured each time someone chooses to celebrate their most treasured occasions with us, creating memories that will be carried for years to come.
Thank you, Kaz, for allowing us to be part of such a meaningful and joyful day. It was a celebration filled with warmth, laughter, and beautiful memories — exactly what Margate Country Club is all about.
